Administrative Pool
The purpose of creating a Leadership Development Plan (which includes the Administrative Pool process is to improve the quality of the instructional leaders in Lake County Schools so that every school is guided by an effective instructional leader who carries out the vision and mission of the state, district, and school. Benefits

Child Abuse and Educator Misconduct
All cases of suspected institutional abuse (by a Lake County School Board employee) must be reported to School Administration or the Employee Relations department. Failure to report misconduct may result in penalties up to termination of employment and revocation of an educator’s certificate. Please review this link, which will contain additional information.

Instructional Retention Data
Retention and turnover data is compiled and made available to all stakeholders on an ongoing basis. Information is summarized quarterly year-to-date (YTD) and a final end-of-year report is generated at the end of each school year.
Out of Field Teachers
Florida State law requires that school districts notify parents/guardians when a teacher is assigned teaching duties in a class dealing with subject matter that is outside the field in which the teacher is certified (out of field). Payroll
The Payroll department can assist with Payroll Processing, Direct Deposit, W-4 Updates, Time Off and True Time, Transfer of Sick Leave, Child Support, Wage Garnishments, and related areas. Note: This will redirect you to the district's Finance/Payroll department web page.
Private Instructional Provider Packet
Parents will work with the Private Provider to complete the Private Instructional Provider Packet. Complete each item to initiate clearance for collaboration with a school team. Review and follow all steps listed on page 1 of the document to ensure a speedy process.
Records Request
All requests for personnel and other public records are subject to the Florida State Statute Chapter 119. This link will redirect you to our Communications Department, where you will be able to complete an online Records Request form, and also access additional information about the process.
Union Contracts
This link will redirect you to a landing page used to access the labor union contracts for our Instructional employees (Lake County Education Association/LCEA) and Non-Instructional/Bargaining employees (Service Employees International Union/SEIU).
