Weather forecasts show that parts of Lake County are likely to be affected by stormy weather and flooding on Monday, August 5. All employees, including teachers who are scheduled to return to work on Monday, August 5, are asked to evaluate their individual circumstances to determine if you can safely report to work tomorrow. Teachers who want to and are able to report to their school at any point of the day on Monday may do so if you want to work in your classroom. However, principals have moved any trainings, celebrations and meetings scheduled for tomorrow to Tuesday. The Clermont Chamber back-to-school event also has been canceled for Monday. So, Monday will be work-in-your-classroom or work-in-your-office day for employees who are able to come in safely. But employees who find that weather conditions do not allow for safe travel on Monday, please consider Monday a work-from-home day. Regardless of where you decide to work tomorrow, all employees will be paid as normal.
